Dharma and Nature 2026
The Silence of the Senses
Nine days of forest walks, nature meditations and teachings, including outdoor sessions, with Lama Michel Rinpoche. And then … Hatha Yoga and Pranayama sessions, inspiring conferences, documentaries and evening programmes featuring mindful movement, astrology and Tibetan singing bowls.
To stay healthy and feel good, we cannot rely solely on our doctor; we must also take responsibility for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. But what is a healthy lifestyle? During these days dedicated to wellbeing, we will learn to understand the five elements, the different psychophysical constitutions, systemic balance, the effects of a balanced diet, the importance of physical exercise, relaxation, good sleep and much more. We will hear from therapists and doctors with clinical experience in the field, who will share the latest scientific evidence on wellbeing. We will learn how paying attention to our lifestyle can help prevent heart disease, cancer and mental health issues.
The event is dedicated to physical wellbeing, subtle energy healing and inner growth.
What to bring:
comfortable clothing, walking shoes, a yoga mat, a light blanket, a meditation cushion for outdoor activities, swimwear and a towel, your personal bottle.

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Second session
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM Third session
Yoga is the science of self-realization, a path to self-care and the body-mind, to utilize natural energies to elevate one’s spirit and connect with the divine within.
The 5 elements—earth, water, fire, wind, and space—and the 5 vayus (commonly called pranas)—or life forces—are the foundation for this path. Each of the elements and vayus/pranas has a specific function and location in the body.
Over the course of the week, we will learn to utilize these energies for our personal and collective yogic journey. Each day will be dedicated to a specific element and prana:
Day One: Earth Element – Prana Vayu (chest and head)
Day Two: Water Element – Udana Vayu (throat and head)
Day Three: Fire Element – Samana Vayu (navel)
Day Four: Wind Element – Apana Vayu (lower abdomen)
Day Five: Space Element – Vyana Vayu (widespread throughout the body)
We will learn to balance the 5 elements and the 5 vayus/pranas through asanas, Ayurveda, pranayama, meditation, mantra chanting, and lifestyle planning. Finally, on Day Six, we will discover how to cook to restore balance to the body-mind through appropriate nutrition. Each session will be held in an environment suited to the specific element and vayu/prana.
Functions of the vayus/pranas
Prana: controls breathing and energy absorption.
Apana: governs elimination and downward-moving energy.
Samana: regulates digestion and assimilation.
Udana: controls speech, self-expression, and ascending energy.
Vyana: manages the circulation and distribution of energy throughout the body.
Bring comfortable clothing, a light blanket, a yoga mat, a water bottle, and shoes for outdoor excursions.
Participation can be for the day or for the entire workshop. Reservations are required at reception: reception@kunpen.it

Together on the Path
Lam Rim course based on the text “Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand” of Paponka Rinpoche
Saturday 10.30- 13.00
Sunday 10.30am – 1.00 pm and 3.30 pm – 5.00 pm
The Lam Rim, translated as “Gradual Path,” is a fundamental teaching of Tibetan Buddhism that guides practitioners through a systematic journey toward enlightenment. Based on the teachings of the Buddha, the Lam Rim was first structured by the Indian master Atisha and later expanded by Je Tsong Khapa, who wrote the “Lam Rim Chen Mo,” a detailed work that explores the stages of the path in relation to three types of practitioners: those of lower, medium, and higher capacities.
In Pabonka Rinpoche’s book “Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand,” the Lam Rim is presented as a practical method for developing the mind and addressing inner afflictions. Rinpoche emphasizes the importance of renunciation, bodhicitta (the altruistic intention to attain enlightenment for the benefit of others), and the understanding of emptiness. These elements are essential for progressing on the spiritual path and realizing the true nature of reality.
The Lam Rim is not merely a series of instructions; it is an invitation to deeply reflect on one’s life and motivations. Through the practice of suggested meditations, practitioners can develop a clear vision of their spiritual aspirations and learn to navigate daily challenges with greater awareness and compassion. In this way, the Lam Rim serves as a valuable guide for anyone wishing to embark on a journey of personal and spiritual growth.
For those who wish to have meals at the Center, reservations: online https://shimbu.ngalso.org/

dettagli dell'evento
Conscious Dance – Movement as a Meditative Practice
A moment dedicated to anyone who feels the need to re-establish an authentic connection with their own body, without any technical requirements or performative outcomes. Movement becomes a tool for listening and exploration through physical and gestural inquiry, drawing on the principles of theater-dance, yoga, and meditation. Starting from breath awareness with eyes closed and the perception of one’s own weight, we proceed to explore space according to suggested dynamics and through movement experimentation, with the aim of fostering centering, release from tensions, and expressive freedom.
A conscious inquiry practice through movement: a safe, non-judgmental space in which to inhabit the body, listen to it, and recognize it as a possibility for knowledge, presence, and transformation.
Booking is required by March 15 at the reception: reception@kunpen.it
