Laura Massari
Choreographer, director, teacher of literature, acting, and dance. She directs a theater company in Milan, has worked as a contemporary dance instructor at performing arts high schools and academies in Novara, Turin, Varese, and Milan, and as a holistic coordinator at reception facilities in Sardinia. She has been writing and directing theater performances for over ten years. She has studied with extraordinary masters, who were themselves students of pioneers in the performing arts, such as Jo Ann Endicott – student of Pina Bausch, founder of TanzTheater; Susanna Beltrami – student of Merce Cunningham, founder of Modern Dance; Gigi Dall’Aglio – founder of Teatro Due di Parma; Ida Kuniaki – student of Jacques Lecoq; Paolo Mangiola – dancer with Wayne McGregor; Iyar Eleszra – dancer with the Batsheva Dance Company of choreographer Ohad Naharin.
