Together on the Path
Lam Rim course based on the text “Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand” of Paponka Rinpoche
Saturday 10.30- 13.00
Sunday 11.00am – 1.00 pm and 3.30 pm – 5.00 pm
The Lam Rim, translated as “Gradual Path,” is a fundamental teaching of Tibetan Buddhism that guides practitioners through a systematic journey toward enlightenment. Based on the teachings of the Buddha, the Lam Rim was first structured by the Indian master Atisha and later expanded by Je Tsong Khapa, who wrote the “Lam Rim Chen Mo,” a detailed work that explores the stages of the path in relation to three types of practitioners: those of lower, medium, and higher capacities.
In Pabonka Rinpoche’s book “Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand,” the Lam Rim is presented as a practical method for developing the mind and addressing inner afflictions. Rinpoche emphasizes the importance of renunciation, bodhicitta (the altruistic intention to attain enlightenment for the benefit of others), and the understanding of emptiness. These elements are essential for progressing on the spiritual path and realizing the true nature of reality.
The Lam Rim is not merely a series of instructions; it is an invitation to deeply reflect on one’s life and motivations. Through the practice of suggested meditations, practitioners can develop a clear vision of their spiritual aspirations and learn to navigate daily challenges with greater awareness and compassion. In this way, the Lam Rim serves as a valuable guide for anyone wishing to embark on a journey of personal and spiritual growth.

Four mandala of Tara Chittamani puja
The practice of Tara Chittamani is a special method in Tibetan Buddhism which helps to dissipate interferences and liberate sentient beings from any form of fear and dangers. The practice permits one to identify with the pure crystal energy of the female divinity Tara which actually is an archetype of the pure female energy free from fear. Tara is also known as the Liberator and Swift Heroine for the speed which characterizes her intervention. The special energy of Tara who is the consort of Buddha Amoghasiddhi, the Supreme Healer of fear, is the key to overcoming all external, internal and secret fears.

Yamantaka sand mandala
with the assembly of lamas, geshes and monks
10.00 am -13.00 am and 15.30 pm – 7.00 pm
In the traditional way, starting with the drawing and completing with colored sands, the monks will build the Yamantaka mandala. The mandala is a symbolic representation of the purified universe, is the dwelling – in plan – of a tantric deity and constitutes a meditative path according to tantra instructions.
The benefits of viewing and constructing the Yamantaka mandala are the decrease of energies related to anger and hatred and the increase of peace, inner stability of beings and environmental balance.
This mandala will be the meditative basis for the Rabne Chenmo ritual that will take place from July 8 to July 12.

NgalSo Tantric Self-Healing Workshop – How to relax body, speech and mind
from 3.00 pm to 6.30 pm
In this workshop, we will explore the practice of NgalSo Self-Healing and familiarise ourselves with its structure and the benefits it can bring, such as the development of relaxation, joy, inner peace and self-healing of the body and mind.
“The word ‘NgalSo’ means relaxation and regeneration. The techniques taught in this book are secret methods of the Tibetan yogic tradition, which are being revealed openly to the general public for the first time. By using these methods, we can greatly aid the healing of many mental and physical illnesses. But this is only the first of its effects. Gradually, by regenerating the energy of our emotions, our mind, our body, our atoms and cells, we draw closer to the great final relaxation, which we call enlightenment. It is not necessary to be a Buddhist to use these techniques, as the Tantras refer to universal human experiences, which are potentially accessible to everyone. This is my gift to the generations of the third millennium. Please accept it and use it to live with greater joy and peace.”
from the book Self-Healing II, by Lama Gangchen Rinpoche
