SYNOPSIS
A docu-film conceived as a real letter to the future of humanity. We have imagined a future where, in the end, man was not able to save his planet.

Thus, climate change has caused a catastrophe. So, to those who from the future, looking back, ask us how we could have allowed it, we answer with this journey/documentary from our present. To make them understand who we were and how we acted.

A group of 6 people who don’t know each other, including actors Maya Sansa, Giuseppe Cederna and doctor Franco Berrino, leave their homes, their phones and their comforts and venture on a 7-day journey on foot through Val Grande, Europe’s largest wilderness area. Over 150 square kilometers of nature alone.

Alone, with their backpacks and their thoughts, immersed in the midst of primordial nature and far from the society that has shaped them, they will have the task of answering that question from the future. “How could we have allowed this?”

It has never been a problem of numbers, data, knowledge or predictions. But solely and uniquely of our human nature.

Like them, so each of us, whether we like it or not, will eventually be called upon to choose. To take sides. In the hope that this present can change that distant, but ever closer, future.
