On the occasion of the anniversary of Drubwang Gangchen Rinpoche’s birth, three days dedicated to the celebration of his extraordinary life, a life entirely dedicated to caring for beings and teaching the message of peace of the ‘inner scientist Buddha Shakyamuni’ as he liked to call the Buddha.

Saturday, 5th July

8.00 – 8.45: Water and flower offerings at the Sacred Stupa of Drubwang Lama Gangchen Rinpoche

09.00 – 09.45: NgalSo Tantric Self-Healing, meditation led by Lama Michel Rinpoche

10.00 – 13.00: Guru Puja with the lamas, geshes and monks – Sadhana of Yamantaka (Main Gompa) – also in streaming 

15.00 – 17.00: Guru Puja – Tsog – (Protector Gompa)

15.00 – 16.00: Recitation of Lama Gangchen Rinpoche’s mantra during the projection of rainbow photos compiled by Fernanda Lenz and video of a teaching by Lama Gangchen Rinpoche 

16.00 – 17.30: Live interview with Lama Michel Rinpoche – for the podcast series “Life with a Lama Healer” by Lelia O’Connor – in streaming

Monday, 7th July

8.00 – 8.45: Water and flower offerings at the Sacred Stupa of Drubwang Lama Gangchen Rinpoche

9.00 – 10.00: SangSo incense offering ceremony – in front of the Temple with lamas, geshes and monks

10.30 – 11.00: Procession from the labrang (lamas’ residence) to the Temple with sacred relics from the private collection of Lama Gangchen Rinpoche 

11.00 – 13.00: Guru Puja and tsog with the lamas, geshe and monks with exhibition of the sacred relics on the throne of Lama Gangchen Rinpoche – (Main Gompa)

15.00 – 17.00: Lama Caroline recounts the lineage and life of Lama Gangchen Rinpoche, based on images from the book: Gangchen a Spiritual Heritage.
