Visit of Sherab Tulku Rinpoche

We are pleased to announce the visit of Sherab Tulku Rinpoche, an important teacher of the Ganden Nyengyu tradition, to the Albagnano Healing Meditation Centre from 6 to 8 December 2025.

Lama Michel Rinpoche will be present during the programme of Sherab Rinpoche to translate from Tibetan.

Below is the programme of initiations that will be conferred by Sherab Rinpoche, which we will have the opportunity to participate in:

Chöd empowerment

Chöd is a profound practice in Tibetan Buddhism that aims to “cut” attachment to the ego through meditation, chanting and visualisation. With the support of an authentic lineage, participants will receive the blessings necessary to begin or deepen this path of inner transformation, which combines compassion, wisdom and courage in confronting one’s fears and inner obstacles.

Vajrayogini empowerment

The practice of Vajrayogini, one of the most important in Mahanuttara Yoga Tantra, the highest class of Tantra, is considered one of the most powerful of all Vajrayana meditations. Vajrayogini is a special female enlightened being who was emanated 2,500 years ago by the Buddha. She is the female counterpart of Heruka, the Lord of Heroes. She teaches us how to attain enlightenment by purifying our pure feminine essence, our dakini nature. She is an excellent antidote to the damage caused by excessive attachment and desire. Her realisations can lead to enlightenment in this very lifetime.
