Hundreds of millions of years before the internet, an ancestral globalization has always existed. Tendrel is a concept in Tibetan Buddhism: a cosmic network of the interexistance of all phenomenon and of the five elements as cosmology. All peoples have been connected since the dawn of time through their sacred relationship with the winds, earth, water, fire and space, each in their own way. Rescuing the essential values of these five elements is the key to our relationship with nature, and is the soul of the documentary Tendrel by Andrea Velloso. It takes us into a kaleidoscope of presences and images, as seen through various artists’ installations, to penetrate the cosmology of the native peoples from the Amazon to the Andes, and the ancestral wisdom of tibetan Buddhism, with Lama Gangchen Rinpoche, Lama Michel Rinpoche, and Lama Caroline, the musician Gilberto Gil, the artist Bill Viola, the shaman Ashaninka Moisés, the master Hani-Kuin Sr. Antônio, juxtaposed with reflexions from the words of poets, prisoners, prostitutes, musicians, youth, healers and  philosophers.
