Reiki and Mindfulness of Inner Lights and Sounds
Programme for Saturday 3 September: 10.30 a.m. – 1 pm and 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm
– Komyo Reiki first level course
– Komyo Reiki treatment exchanges
– Mindfulness of Inner Lights and Sounds with drum vibrations and Tibetan bells
The Course
is structured so that both those who wish to receive the first level of Reiki and thus become fully-fledged Reiki practitioners and those who wish to practise Reiki for a weekend (or a day) without taking the course can participate; they will receive a harmonisation, which will allow them to experience Reiki energy for a limited time, thus having the opportunity to consider whether to undertake this path in the future.
Komyo Reiki
facilitates the perception of the flow of Universal (Ki) Energy (Rei) in the body and mind, bringing them back into a state of balance.
This healing system stems from the intention of the founder, Rev. Hyakuten Inamoto, to emphasise the spiritual connotation of the method taught by Mikao Usui.
Komyo Reiki is closely related to the Dhyani Buddha Amitabha.
Mindfulness of Inner Lights and Sounds
The concept of Mindfulness originates in Buddhist contemplative traditions dating back some 2500 years. The term mindfulness derives from the word ‘Sati’ which in the Pali language (the language used by the Buddha to deliver his teachings) refers to a state of ‘mental presence’. Mindfulness can therefore be thought of as “the awareness one achieves by deliberately paying attention, and in a non-judgmental way, to one’s moment-to-moment experience” (Kabat-Zinn, 2003).
In the Mindfulness of Inner Lights and Sounds we integrate meditation on the sacred sounds of the seed syllables of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition NgalSo with circular, conscious breathing. The sound of Tibetan bells and drums lend harmony and rhythm to the experience.
Programme for Sunday 4 September: 10.30 a.m. – 1 pm and 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm
– Practice of Tibetan Reiki Chawang NgalSo
– Komyo Reiki harmonisations
– Mindfulness of inner Lights and Sounds with vibrations of the drum and Tibetan bells
Chawang NgalSo Reiki
is an ancient Tibetan method based on the laying on of hands with the blessing of the NgalSo Tantric Self-Healing lineage of Lama Gangchen Rinpoche. It is used to treat the root causes of hidden diseases, which show no obvious symptoms, and to purify and pacify karmic and astrological causes. Chawang NgalSo Reiki gives new hope, more power and confidence.
On this day, we will lay the foundation for the practice of this healing method, for which it is necessary to receive Initiation by a qualified lama of the NgalSo tradition.
Important: what is proposed during the course is not intended as psychological or medical therapy, but as a purely spiritual practice.
Davide Pincella: teacher of Komyo Reiki and mindfulness of inner lights and sounds,
specialised in the use of Tibetan bells and the drum.
Giuseppe Beppe Bordina: psychologist, teacher of Komyo Reiki and mindfulness of inner lights and sounds
