Placement ceremony of the Sacred Body of Drubwang Gangchen Rinpoche and consecration of the stupa

According to the Buddhist tradition, for more than two millennia, a stupa has been built to house the body and the relics of a great master. Following this tradition in all its aspects, a stupa was built in the garden of the Albagnano Centre, as indicated by Lama Gangchen Rinpoche himself.

On February 18th, 2021, the seventh day of the first month of the Tibetan calendar, an auspicious date, the placement of the Sacred Body of Drubwang Gangchen Rinpoche and the consecration of the stupa will take place. On this occasion we will have the opportunity to pay homage to our Guru with prostrations, circumambulations, offerings, prayers and dedications.

Programme Thursday 18th February

10:00  Preparation for the reception of the Sacred Body of Drubwang Gangchen Rinpoche.
10:30  Reception of the Sacred Body of Drubwang Gangchen Rinpoche.
11:00 Guru Puja with offerings of flowers, water, incense and lights.
13.00 Lunch offered

15:30: Guru Yoga Practice

The activities will take place mainly outdoors, following all the current regulations on the containment of the pandemic.
