Opening ceremonies of Borobudur – Temple of Heaven on Earth

Event dedicated to inner and world peace and the balance of the natural environment

 5^th and 6^th of November 2022

The following program for the opening of the Temple is intended for the local area, the local community and especially to thank the workers who contributed to the completion of the Temple.
The international opening, which will include the presence of lamas, monks and guests from around the world, is scheduled for July 2023.

10.30 am – 1.30 pm Cutting of the traditional ribbon and inaugural speech | Interreligious prayer | Greetings from the Authorities

Open Day: Day dedicated to the presentation of the activities of the Centre

During the whole day, the creation of the mandala with coloured sands by the Tibetan monks will take place
