This is the story of how a sacred place is created, how a lineage remains alive and, most importantly, how the life of one person can transform the lives of many. This story first began with Lama Gangchen Rinpoche, who left Tibet in 1963. During his years in India, he pondered where to settle to share his knowledge, experiences and traditions, and how to keep them alive for future generations. The dream of five mountains with a central mountain and a lake in front guided him to Albagnano, in Verbania, Italy.
