Kurukulle Practice
Kurukulle is one of the highest Yoga Tantra practices and helps one fall in love with the Dharma and the ultimate reality of emptiness. It was composed by Tilopa and his disciples, as well as other mahasiddhas such as Indrabhuti of Oddiyana. Kurukulle, in Tibetan Rik Cema, means She Who Causes Knowledge, She Who Awakens Non-Dual Awareness. Kurukulle helps remove obstacles and, on the relative level, improves our health, increases wisdom, and creates favorable conditions for Dharma practice.
On the ultimate level, she leads to the state of buddhahood. She is the ‘inner dakini’ and performs magnetizing activities that benefit all beings. Her practice also allows one to cultivate tummo, the powerful inner fire. Kurukulle forms a triad with Manjushri and Sarasvati: together, they increase both ordinary and spiritual wisdom and intelligence.
We will dedicate this practice to inner and world peace, to the protection of the inner and outer environment, to the long life of our teachers, to the removal of interferences to Dharma practice, and to strengthening harmony in our relationship with ourselves and with others.
The Dharma is precious and priceless.
Therefore, in accordance with tradition, this activity is by free offering, according to each person’s means and choice.
