Description
Yamantaka Tantra offers us a key to understanding and harmonizing the energies of the body and mind with those of the world in which we live. During the retreat participants will be guided through a series of exercises using the recitation, concentration and visualization.
The retreat will be an intensive meditation and recitation practice. It will unfold in 4 daily sessions.
Goals
Better management of uncontrolled negative emotions, particularly those involving inner violence and aggression. These mental states attack and block personal life energy at the physical, emotional and mental levels.
Recognition of the characteristics of ignorance and one’s own mental closure. Development of clarity, insight into the nature of phenomena and the ability to act deliberately.
Increased physical and mental relaxation and improvement of one’s intellectual abilities.
Expected Results
Understanding of the negative results, on ourselves and others, resulting from the violent use of sensory faculties.
Positive management of one’s emotional states, prevention of work-related stress and psychological distress, such as burnout syndrome.
Overcoming anxieties and fears, particularly the deepest one, the fear of death.
Ability to overcome manic and obsessive tendencies.
Increase in one’s vital energy and greater ability to cope with difficulties with a peaceful mind.
Improved relationships with others and ability to cooperate and collaborate.
Greater success and harmony in daily actions in the home, work environment and society.
Yamantaka’s Tantra method helps develop:
– intelligence, memory, the ability to express concepts
– the clear, deep and quick wisdom
– the ability to teach, write and debate
All methodologies used during the Yamantaka retreat aim to develop inner peace, to contribute to the realization of world peace, and to achieve healing and Enlightenment, the highest human potential.
Origins of the teaching
Yamantaka practice is based on the secret Mahamudra Ganden Nyengyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Yamantaka is the wrathful manifestation of Manjusri, the Buddha of Wisdom.
Yamantaka’s teaching is a Nondual Mahanuttara tantra, the highest class. In today’s degenerate age, Yamantaka Tantra is an excellent method for purifying negative karma resulting from aversion and hatred.
Its practice leads to the realizations of the union of Clear Light and Illusory Body and the inner fire of tummo.
The retreat is open and participation can be as short as a few days; at least one session per day should be attended during the retreat.
