Visit of Sherab Tulku Rinpoche

We are pleased to announce Sherab Tulku Rinpoche’s visit to Albagnano Healing Meditation Centre from 19th February to 5th March  2022.

Here are the programs of practices, initiations and teachings – with this important master of the Ganden Nyengyu tradition – in which we will have the opportunity to participate.

All programs will be in attendance and streaming 

Lama Michel Rinpoche will be present at the programs to translate Sherab Rinpoche from Tibetan to English.

The practice of Tara Chittamani is a special Tibetan Buddhist method to help dissipate interferences and to liberate all living beings from all forms of fear and danger. The practice allows us to identify with the pure crystal energy of the female deity Tara, also known as the Liberator and Swift Heroine for the speed that characterizes her action. The special energy of Tara, consort of the Supreme Healer of fear, Buddha Amogasiddhi, is the key to overcoming all outer, inner and secret fears.

The Chöd which is generally translated as ‘cutting the ego’ is a spiritual practice very popular in Tibet. It is meant to transcend our ordinary view of the self which is the root cause of all our problems. This lineage was brought to Tibet by the great indian Mahasippha Padampa Sangye and extensively spread by his consort, the dakini Machig Lhabdron.

Sherab Rinpoche biography

Sherab Rinpoche is a reincarnated Lama from the Shar Ganden monastery in India, a direct disciple of  Geshe Lobsang Tenzin, a great master holder of the lineage of Chöd, according to the Ganden Nyengyu tradition. Sherab Rinpoche in his previous life had a very close connection with the late Kiabje Trijang Dorje Chang and now is an important Lama of the Ganden Nyengyu tradition. He is the tutor of Domo Geshe Rinpoche.
