The sacred statue of Lama Gangchen Rinpoche<\/h1>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n

\n\nSeveral years ago, during a trip to Tibet, Lama Michel was sitting beside Lama Gangchen Rinpoche and asked him: \u201cThe day you are no longer with us in this body, what should we do?\u201d. In addition to giving instructions on how to handle the moment he would leave his body, Rinpoche said: \u201cTo help all my friends and disciples connect with me, make statues and place mantras and sacred objects inside them\u201d <\/strong>. Lama Michel asked whether the statue should depict him as a mahasiddha or a pandita, and he replied: \u201cNo, no, no, it must depict me as I usually appear to people, as people are used to seeing me\u201d.<\/span>\n\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n
